Yoon In-na, 21, who will return to the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour next month on April 4 after receiving a suspension, has posted a heartfelt message on social media.
Yoon posted a handwritten message on her Instagram on Sept. 29. "As a golfer, I had a lot of regret and reflection while looking back on my past mistakes," she wrote, adding, "I have learned what it means to be a professional."
"I'm going to try to start over at the KLPGA Domestic Open," Yoon In In said, "I will repay everyone who loves golf by being a sincere and exemplary player, as they have given me the opportunity to return a little early."
Yoon In-na rose to stardom in 2022 when she made her debut on the KLPGA Tour, but in June of that year, she was suspended for three years for playing an errant ball during the Korea Women's Open organized by the Korea Golf Association. 스포츠토토 The Korea Golf Association and the KLPGA later reduced her suspension, allowing Yoon to compete in the KLPGA Tour's 2024 season opener, the Doosan E&C Weave Championship, from April 4-7 next month in Jeju, South Korea.
It will be Yoon's first KLPGA Tour event since July 2022, a year and eight months after her suspension. In February, she finished tied for 11th at the Australian Women's Professional Golf Tour Big Open.
